Hard water staining
A hard water stain stops being dirt and becomes the glass.
Scale, mineral veil and deposit that no cleaner takes off. At first it sits on top. If it stays, it attacks the surface.
Where the water comes from
- Irrigation and sprinklers. Hard water drying on the same pane every day.
- Construction run-off. Concrete, mortar and stucco slurry running down the façade.
- Building washdowns. Water left to dry on the panel by itself.
- Cleaning chemicals. Strong detergent that dries on the glass before it is rinsed.
How to tell whether it is too late
Wash the glass properly with an ordinary cleaner, then look at it dry and against the light. If it comes off completely and leaves no shadow, it was a deposit: you don’t need us. If the mark is still there after cleaning, it is no longer sitting on top — it is the surface. That is what we treat.
What we do
We don’t grind. Polishing means grinding, and grinding leaves a lens that shows from the street. Combined chemical and physical action: the stain is gone and the panel keeps its original properties. It is done in place, without taking the panel out.

- Broken or cracked glass — that one does need replacing.
- Coated glass and textured glass.
Saying so up front beats a promise we can’t keep.

Both come down to the condition of the piece and where it is. We don’t post a number we can’t hold to: send us a photo and we’ll answer both, and whether it can be brought back or the panel has to be replaced.
