Windshields
A scratched windshield doesn’t always have to be replaced.
Scratches come from the wiper blade, or from anything else that rubs against the glass. It isn’t grime and washing won’t touch it: it is in the surface.
What causes it
- The wiper blade. Wiping dry, or with grit caught in it, leaves the scratch in an arc.
- Anything else. Whatever rubs against the glass leaves a mark.
What we do
We don’t grind. Polishing means grinding, and grinding leaves a lens. On a windshield that lens sits exactly where the driver looks. Combined chemical and physical action: the scratch is gone and the glass keeps its original properties.

Who hires us
A dealership or the owner of the car. It works on new and used: a new one can arrive with the windshield already scratched from transport or from prep, and a used one brings it from use.
We come to the car
The service is done at your place, like everything Element Echo does. You don’t take it anywhere and you don’t leave it with anyone.
What we don’t do
- A cracked or chipped windshield. That one does need replacing.
Saying so up front beats a promise we can’t keep.
Price and timing
Both come down to the condition of the glass and where the car is. We don’t post a number we can’t hold to: send us a photo and we’ll answer both, and whether it can be brought back or has to be replaced.
